Upcoming Event!:

Our annual youth Christmas banquet is this coming Saturday evening, December 5. We have had a venue change, so it's important to take note! We are now holding it at a restaurant called "Phood on Main" in downtown Riverside. This is a great little restaurant with a perfect room to suit our needs. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. This is a formal event, so come dressed up! Tickets are $10 and bring a white elephant gift worth $10 or less (free is fine, even encouraged!). Please let me know ASAP if you are planning on attending. I will list directions below. Thank you and I hope to see you there.

The youth ministry program at the Corona SDA Church is focused on leading youth to an active relationship with Christ.  This is done through worship together, discussing difficult topics in Rap Sessions, and spending time enjoying each other.  In each of our programs adults and youth come together to learn from each other, no matter the age gap.  Here is a summary of our different programs:

Rap Sessions:
Every 3rd Friday evening of the month the youth come together to discuss topics that concern youth today.  Topics  range from religious questions such as "Does it matter what religion someone is as long as they're happy?" to life questions that pertain to drinking, sex, etc.  These discussions are led by adults, and all persons and oppinions are treated respectuflly so that each may have their say. We do ask parents to refrain from attending so the youth aren't influenced in expressing their thoughts and concerns on the topics at hand.


Sabbath School:
This is our Sabbath morning program, 9:30 a.m..  We come together in the Youth Chapel at the church to eat donuts and study the Bible.  We dig deep to see what the Bible is really saying, not just to read verses, but to truly understand.  We start as one big group to sing together, then split into different age groups.

Youth Socials:
At least once a month we come together just to have fun with each other.  Activities range from Digital Camera Scavenger Hunts to Lock-Ins and Video Nights.
